Dirol Cadbury, a Cadbury Schweppes Group subdivision in Russia, is one of the leading confectionery companies in Russia and CIS states producing chewing gum, packed sugar confectionery, and chocolate. The company was established in 2003 as a result of consolidation of Cadbury and Dandy subdivisions in Russia. The chewing gum factory in Veliky Novgorod is certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2000.
In December 2012, pilot implementation of a MES system at the rolling site of the shewing gum factory was completed. The system manages work orders, tracks material flows, and collects and analyzes data on equipment performance.
Factory personnel now has a powerful tool for operational control and further analysis of productions activities at all management levels, from line operators to operations director.
The system is implemented on the basis of Wonderware MES software.
